Not necessarily. It unifies the workplace (desktop, apps and communication). It can coexist with productivity suites or absorb part of the flow depending on the deployment.
No. It runs in the browser. Optionally install as a PWA (app).
Yes. The model is per-user profile, apps per unit and SSO to each operation's systems.
The Factory registers and publishes on the desktop (URL, icon, category, credentials). Custom software generation is an additional layer (labs / advanced factory).
In the user vault, encrypted and tied to the FormiOS account. One employee cannot see another's password.
