1. What the Factory does
It does not generate code by default. It registers external applications (ERP, portal, unit SaaS) so the team opens them inside FormiOS, with their own icon and password saved in the user vault.
2. Registration fields
App name; https link; Font Awesome icon or image upload (PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, ICO) stored on the platform; category (Finance, HR, Operations… with create-new); company (HSN Group, unit, partner… with create-new); optional short description.
3. Employee flow
1) Opens the app in Formi Apps, dock or desktop. 2) If no password is saved yet, FormiOS asks for username and password. 3) Credentials stay in the user vault, encrypted. 4) Next times the app opens directly in an internal desktop window.
4. List actions
Open app; add to Dock; add to desktop; delete (archives in catalog). Factory apps also appear in Formi Apps with Dock and Desktop switches on the detail screen.
5. Security
Credentials are per user — one employee does not see another password. Uploaded icons are hosted on the platform. Only http/https URLs are accepted.
6. Best practices
Keep categories and companies consistent. Prefer official system icon uploads. For critical group apps with native SSO (Allnote, Recifes, Tendas), keep using the SSO connector instead of the generic Factory.
